The first wines of vintage 2018
The 2018 Kúria White and Kúria Rosé are now available. This year, the first wines of vintage 2018 were released with a new, fun design. The figures are not only colored on the Kúria White and Kúria Rosé labels, but they are now moving, some even started to dance.
The Balf trio is back together
Zweigelt 2016, Merlot 2016, Kékfrankos 2015
Since November our three wines made from grapes grown in the Sopron wine region are back together. The previous vintage of the Zweigelt and Merlot proved to be so popular upon release, that our stock ran out in just a few months. The current vintage of the Kékfrankos is 2015, as this variety requires longer ageing.
Pinot Noir Selection 2015
Etyeki Kúria was a pioneer in proving that Etyek has great potential for making Pinot Noir wines. At first it was considered out of line to plant a red variety in a white wine region. Since the first vintage of 2003, it has now been accepted and with time earned recognition. Thus, the Pinot Noir became our flagship wine. For this selection, we aged the best lots of the 2015 vintage for 10 months in new French oak barrels and filled 1500 bottles.
A new chapter in our pioneering Pinot Noir story
A special selection of the Pinor Noir wines made by Etyeki Kúria. In Hungary, it is considered rare to release several vintages of one wine together. We have chosen to offer six Pinot Noirs spanning across five vintages between 2012 and 2016, to show what this variety is capable of in the Etyek-Buda wine region.
