PINOT NOIR VERTICAL TASTING XV. - 2026

BackVintage Tasting

The event is part of the ETYEKI KÚRIA XXX program series.

Since 2010, we have been gathering with our guests and prominent representatives of the wine industry almost every year to learn more about the Pinot Noir wines we have been producing in Etyek since 2003.

The XV. Pinot Noir Vertical Tasting is now a traditional event held at our Sparkling Estate in Öreghegy.

For our upcoming Pinot Noir Vertical event, we have selected wines from around the world to pair with the wines of Etyeki Kúria.

Of course, international wines call for an international expert, so we are pleased to welcome WILLI KLINGER to the Etyeki Kúria Sparkling Estate.

Mr. Klinger has held leading positions in almost all areas of the wine industry...

- Wein & Co. (Austrian "Wine Society", managing director),

- Domäne Wachau (Winery, CEO),

- Austrian Wine Marketing Board (Austrian wine marketing agency, CEO),

- Austrian Wine Academy (Austrian Wine Academy, president, lecturer),

- Gaja Winery (Italy, export manager).

He currently works as a wine consultant.

- Co-editor of the book "Austrian Wine – The History". He frequently appears in Austrian and international media as an author, television presenter, and interviewee on topics related to grapes and wine.

The Etyeki Kúria Winery is represented by our head winemaker, Sándor Mérész.

For each of our Pinot Noir Vertical events, we invite a renowned wine writer to share their thoughts, complementing the responses of wine professionals and helping to elevate the wine experience to an even higher level.

Ágnes Németh will be joining us for the PNV XV event. She is...

- Wine writer, founder and owner of "Hungarianwines,"

- Former editor of the Hungarian edition of Decanter wine magazine and former editor of Vince magazine (for a total of 12 years),

- Creator and organizer of the Vince Budapest Wine Show, Hungary's first and most prestigious wine event,

- Founder of the international "WebWineWriting" writing competition,

- Pro Turismo Award (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade), Par Excellence Award (Hungarian Sommelier Association), Best Wine Writer – Millesima Blog Award (France)

- Author of numerous international wine magazines (Glug / UK, Gilbert & Gaillard / France, SparklingSpain / Spain)
