Esterházy Pinot Noir Estoras 2020 0,75l
Harvesting was done by hand from different vineyards, but mainly from the Leithakalk (Lajtamészkő) terroir. After maceration, cold maceration took place for three days. The must was stored at 5°C for three days without fermentation. This gives particularly fine fruit flavours. It was then fermented at 20-24°C and matured for 12 months, partly in used barriques and partly in steel tanks. The barrique barrel provides an elegant structure, while the wine in steel tanks retains the fresh red berry fruit aromas.
Medium garnet colour. The nose is a pleasant blend of blueberries and cherries with a hint of blood orange and the earthy notes so typical of the variety. On the palate, the red berries are also present, with elegant, silky tannins. A light, Burgundy-like wine.
Gastronomically, it can be paired well even with dishes that are usually accompanied by white wines.
Acidity: 14,5g/l
Residual sugar content:1,1g/l
Recommended drinking temperature: 16-18°C
